Health Policies and Procedures

Above all, your child’s health and well-being is important to us.

If a child becomes ill, he/she will be individually cared for away from the rest of the class, and the parent will be notified immediately.

To ensure the highest possible standards for all, please keep your child home if he/she is ill, has a fever or a runny nose or mucus (yellow/green) not permitted.

To aide in the recovery of a child, we will administer only doctor prescribed medication given to us by the parent.

Nurturing through structure. Our center uses a proven “Redirection” policy to direct children. Only in extreme cases is it necessary for the director to contact a parent. For more details see the Parent Handbook.

  • We do not allow foods with sugar.
